The Mid-States Corridor Project is adjusting operating hours at its office in Jasper.
Starting in August, the Mid-States Corridor office on the Vincennes University Jasper Campus will be open for regular hours on Wednesdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Members of the public can make appointments to meet throughout the week with representatives from the Project Team. Individuals interested in scheduling an in-person or virtual meeting should email info@midstatescorridor.com or call the project office at (812) 482-3116 to request an appointment. If a member of the Project Team is not available to take your call, please leave a message with your name and preferred contact information so your call can be returned to schedule an appointment.
The change in scheduled hours at the project office reflects the lessening volume of visits since the comment and outreach period was completed for the project’s Tier 1 study.
The Project Team has assembled and reviewed more than 1,000 comments received during Tier 1 and are currently revising the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) to submit a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) with a request for a Record of Decision (ROD). The ROD is anticipated for late spring or early summer in 2023.
Continued feedback from the public and stakeholders is welcome through the project website, MidStatesCorridor.com, or by phone or mail. The mailing address for the Mid-States Corridor Project Office is Vincennes University Jasper, Administration Building, Room 216, 850 College Ave., Jasper, IN 47546.
