Four (4) Regional Issues Involvement Teams were formed within the project study area. These teams consist of key stakeholders representing general regions of the project study area (southcentral, northeast, northcentral and northwest).
Each regional team meets in advance of key project milestones including the purpose and need/preliminary alternatives meeting, alternatives screening process meeting and prior to the public hearing.
A list of invited Regional Issues Involvement Team participants is included in Section 6 of the Public Involvement Plan, which can be found below.
The first round of Regional Issues Involvement Team Meetings held in July 2019 focused on providing participants and understanding of the role they would be serving and a general overview of the Mid-States Project. Participants provided input on Purpose & Need, Potential Impacts and Potential Preliminary Alternatives. Detailed summaries of each meeting can be found here.
